Frank Ticheli is arguably the most renowned contemporary composer for band in America. He will conduct the combined band and choir in the festival finale featuring some of his favourite pieces for band and for choir. The individual choirs, Los Gatos High School (from California) and London Sings, will sing individually in the first half of the concert. The Los Gatos High School strings orchestra and band will also perform, as well as BASBWE members:
All the musicians will join together to sing 'Land of Hope and Glory' and 'Battle Hymn of the Republic' in a stirring finale.
