REYNARD MUSIC presents ADVANCED CONCERT BAND WEEKEND

Musical Director: JOHN GREAVES

19:00 Friday dinner, 16th March to Sunday ~16:30 tea, 18th March, 2012

Middle Aston Leadership Centre, Middle Aston, Bicester, OX25 5PT (between Oxford & Banbury)

This is a weekend for Grade 8+ players and essentially one per part (4 flutes plus piccolo, Eb clarinet plus 6 Bb's, Alto, 2 basses & Bb/Eb contra, 3 cornets and 2 trumpets, AATTB saxophones, bass clef trombones, Bb or bass clef euphonium, bass clef tubas, string bass, timps and percussion (you need your own instruments)).

John Greaves is an outstanding and inspirational conductor: he took his Wind Orchestra to a Gold Award five years in succession at the National Concert Band Festival and to Outstanding Awards at the National Festival of Music for Youth. He is a previous conductor of the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales and is in high demand for summer residencies nationwide.

Featuring cordon bleu cooking, en-suite rooms and friendly staff within a 17th Century manor house, Middle Aston offers deluxe accommodation amongst 20 acres of rolling grassland, woods and lake with views over the Oxfordshire hills.
