Virtuoso Music for Winds and Piano
The premiere of "Uncoiling" for oboe and piano by Jennifer Fowler takes place on Thursday 23rd February 2012, 7.30 pm at St Mary's Church, Church End, Walthamstow, London, E17 9RJ (nearest Tube: Walthamstow Central (Victoria Line)). The piece is unusual, in that it was commissioned by the Music in the Village audience!
The programme will also include dramatic and atmospheric works by Poulenc, Lalliet, Francaix, & Saint-Saens (the impressive 'Bassoon Concerto').
