Eminent American clinician, Dr Randy Navarre, is set to visit Archbishop Beck Catholic Sports College on Monday 26 th March for a day of informative and motivational talks aimed at music administrators, teachers and performers.
The days varied timetable of events includes the following sessions on creative recruitment using music technology, improving your school band, rehearsal and performance, how to improve the saxophone sound in your band and different ways to think about music. Sessions will involve active participation from music students from Archbishop Beck culminating in an evening ?meet the parents' concert.
Dr. Navarre performs as a classical saxophonist. He performs in concerts and festivals throughout the United States. He has performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra. He also provides clinics on teaching all beginning instruments, recruiting, developing the inner ear, writing and arranging for school bands, Time Management, and score reading throughout Canada, Europe and Asia more recently Australia.
